When and where will MTL DGTL 2012 take place?
The event will take place from Novembre 12 to November 15, 2012 at the Hilton Montreal Bonaventure hotel:

What language will be used during the sessions?

  • Mobiz and Web-In: sessions are offered in English or French depending on the presenter.
  • MIGS: sessions are offered in English

Schedule

At what time does MTL DGTL begin?
The registration desks opens at 8 AM.

At what time do the first lectures start?
Keynote speeches begin at different time depending on the event. We suggest you check the specific schedule.

What is the schedule for the exhibition zone?

  • 8 am to 6:00 pm, November 12th  (Web-In)
  • 8:30 am to 6:15 pm, November 13th (MIGS)
  • 9 am to 6:15 pm, November 14th (MIGS)
  • 8 am to 6:15 pm, November 15th (Mobiz)

What is the schedule for the Business Lounge?
The Business Lounge for the MIGS will be open from 9 AM to 6 PM, November 13 and 14.
The Business Lounge for the Mobiz will be open from 8 AM to 7 PM on November 15th.

When will people get to know the complete program?
It will be possible to discover all of the programming by the month of August.

Registration

What are the registration fees for MTL DGTL?
There are several pass types. You can find them on the Price List page.

How do I register to MTL DGTL?
You can register online with Ticketpro and pay by credit card. An invoice will be sent to you once your registration is completed. It is also possible to register on-site.

When will I get my badge? Where do I pick it up?
By using the Ticketpro procedure, every participant will receive a personalised email in order to be able to pick up his ticket at the event registration desks at the Hilton Montreal Bonaventure hotel starting November 12. Picture ID will be required.

Do members of the IGDA, SIGGRAPH or CIAIC have a discount? If so, how much is it worth?
Members of the IGDA, SIGGRAPH and CIAIC receive a discount. To get your promotional code, please contact your member association or the person in charge of your sector at Alliance numérique (MTL DGTL Contacts).

Is there other associations that can also receive a discount?
Alliance numérique members and of partner associations are granted a substantial discount depending on the type of pass they require. To get your promotional code, please contact your member association or the person in charge of your sector at Alliance numérique (MTL DGTL Contacts).

Can you get a discount as a student? If so, how much is it worth?
Yes, students receive a 44% discount (MIGS only). However there is a maximum of 300 student passes.

Who do I contact if I am having trouble with the registration process or if I want to request information?

I’m already registered, but I want to change my registration. How do I do?
Please contact the Ticketpro call center at 1-866-908-9090 open from 9AM to 10PM.

Can I register on-site?
Yes, you can proceed with your registration on-site at the opening on November 12. Only credit cards are accepted.

How do I register a group?
For groups of 2 to 9 people: Make 1 transaction per person.
Or contact the Ticketpro call center at 1-866-908-9090 from 9AM to 10PM

For groups of 10 or more people: Make 1 transaction for the group and fill out the form that you will need to return to mchaput@ticketpro.ca before October 2012.

Can I replace someone who is unable to attend?
Yes, but it is imperative that you contact the Ticketpro call center at 1-866-908-9090 open from 9AM to 10PM to notify the registration department.

Which credit cards are accepted?
MTL DGTL accepts Visa and MasterCard.

How do I get a media pass?
You have to complete the Media Accreditation Form (available soon). Only journalists representing recognized media (magazines, Web sites, blogs, etc.) will receive certification.

What is the registration cost for the MIGS Business Lounge?

ExhibitionZone

Why should I visit the exhibition zone?
You will find exhibitors from all backgrounds carrying out all sorts of missions who will be more than pleased to show you their new products.

Montreal

Are MTL DGTL attendees going to receive a discount for the Hilton Montreal Bonaventure Hotel?
Yes. Just click here to receive a discounted rate of $ 169 per night. A reasonable price allowing you to remain on-site all the time!

Is the airport far from the Hilton Montreal Bonaventure Hotel?
The Montreal-Trudeau Airport is located about 30 minutes away by taxi from downtown and the Hilton Montreal Bonaventure hotel, which will host MTL DGTL.

What is the weather in Montreal in November?
November marks the end of fall in the province of Quebec. So the weather is still mild, but evenings are fresh. For information about the weather forecast, visit the Weather Channel Web site.

Volunteering

Is it possible to volunteer for the event?
Yes. You simply need to complete the Online Form and commit to work at least 15 hours in one of the functions required by the organizing committee. For more information, please visit the Volunteering page.

Are children allowed on-site?
For safety reasons, access to MTL DGTL is prohibited for people under 18.
