What is Mobiz?
Mobiz, is an event dedicated to the mobile technologies which features lectures, panel discussions and presentations by local and international personalities in the industry. Participants are presented with the latest developments in advanced mobile technology, entreprise mobility and best practices in the field. The goal of Mobiz is to be the catalyst for economic growth, and the creation of opportunities by mobilization and synergy of all the players and clients of the broader mobile industry.
Considering the success the Mobiz had last year, this second edition is doubling its capacity for a full day of conferences and activities with four main tracks, an extended Exhibition Zone, a Startup Zone, a Job Fair and a Business Lounge.
The lectures presented at the Mobiz follow four main tracks:
Technology: Advantages, disadvantages, news, issues and barriers related to the latest technologies in mobility.
Marketing: Issues and impact surrounding the integration of mobility in the marketing plans and communications of a company.
Media: Impact of mobility on traditional media (newspapers, magazines, television, radio and billboards).
Society: On the topics of integration of mobility into government structures as well as in culture, tourism, education, health, transportation and many other areas.
Mobiz is designed to offer an unparallelled opportunity for participants and partners to share with players in, and customers of, the mobile industry in Quebec.
Its programming encourages dissemination of information and the discovery of the latest technological advancements and best business practices; in addition to fostering networking and industry reach.

The event, which will host over 500 participants, aims to bring together actors in, and customers of, the broader mobile industry including application developers, developers of original content, mobile solution providers, operators, governments, Investors, analysts and consultants, agencies, corporate clients and media.
